We are proud to announce that Data Zoo has won the Excellence in Establishing Global Market Presence award and been named a finalist in the Excellence in Regtech category at FinTech Australia’s seventh annual business awards, The Finnies.
The Finnies celebrates the success of the Australian fintech industry. This year’s awards were highly sought after, with over 100 judges reviewing 300 high-calibre entries from more than 250 companies to select the winners.
The Establishing Global Market Presence award recognises fintechs headquartered or founded in Australia that have successfully grown their presence and identity globally. According to the judges, Data Zoo was recognised for “a tremendous effort across the entire spectrum, strong, proven results, great customer testimonial, and a particularly impressive effort in overcoming challenging regulatory obstacles.”
Tony Fitzgibbon, Chief Executive Officer at Data Zoo, said: “We are delighted to have our global expansion efforts recognised by Fintech Australia. While Data Zoo was founded in Australia, we have been establishing a global market presence and gaining international traction for many years.”
“In the last 12 months, we’ve increased our presence in the United States and Europe, secured strategic global partnerships and prioritised compliance to ensure our clients can trade confidently globally while providing the highest level of data protection. This year has provided many defining moments that have made it clear that Data Zoo is not just an Australian but a global company,” Fitzgibbon said.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. It is fantastic to see the Australian fintech industry celebrated for its achievements and innovation.
